God sees the matter of our heart

Proverbs 21:2

“A person may think their own ways are right, but The Lord weighs the heart”

Sometimes we forget that God sees and knows everything. I think… What about if He were blind and could not see what we do or know what we think? Would our actions be different? Or will we be careless in how we live? Its like we forget that He is always watching us and listening to us, He remembers everything we do, His eye is never turned away or shut.. He examines the deepest thoughts of our hearts and minds (Jeremiah 11:20). We can’t deceive Him, He knows how much hypocrisy is in our hearts and how much truth there is. “Fire tests the purity of silver and gold, but The Lord tests the heart” (Proverbs 17:3). He sees the lust and adultery, the hatred and unkindness. “The human heart is the most deceitful and desperately wicked, (Jeremiah 17:9-10) I The Lord, search all hearts and examine secret motives. I give all people their due rewards”. We may try to hide our sins from Him, but the truth is He knows everything about us. The Word of God cuts deep into our innermost thoughts and desires, it exposes us before His eyes. He’s the One whom we must explain all that we have done. So why hide? We may wear a mask and people think we are following Him, But one day we will stand before Him and all will be seen. This should make us tremble in fear. He wants us to turn our sinful ways so that we can live. If we turn to Him and believe in Christ, He will forgive us and give us new life.

A Woman’s Dream

I believe God gives every woman a dream that is specially designed for her talents and His purpose, a dream only she can fulfill. It is with our faith to move forward as we will face obstacles that would keep us from His best for us. We will hear the enemies lies and we will feel discouraged, fatigued, impatient, and with unbelief. This is common because the closer our relationship with Him and fulfilling His purpose for our lives, the enemy will work harder. We simply walk in faith toward the destiny He has called us to do, keeping our focus on all the great things He has for us. I know these things as I have experienced it myself. I have been on some amazing adventures as I continue moving forward and regardless of my circumstances. I press through, walking confidently and avoid doubting Him.

Never Give Up

Luke 18:1

“Jesus told His disciples to show them that they should always pray and not give up”

When we don’t persevere, we don’t get an answer to our prayer because we give up and stop praying. I know this to be a mistake with serious consequences, its simply a trap when I begin things but never see them completed. When we start things without finishing, we fail. Giving up is admitting failure and defeat then leads to discouragement and doubt in the power of prayer. Sometimes I stop praying and leave the situation or circumstance in God’s hands but He says “Pray until what I pray for has been accomplished or until I have complete assurance in my heart that it will be”. He alone will decide when its safe to cease from it. I try to recognize this God-given assurance and know when to quietly rest in it or when to continue praying until I receive His answer. I try to wait at His promise until He meets me here. He always returns on the path of His promise.

Walking By Faith

Walking In Faith

Job 23:10
“He knows the way I take”

What confidence I have because of the way I take, This way of trials and tears, however winding, hidden, or tangled. “He knows”. When the furnace is heated hotter than usual, I know He still lights my way. He who knows and directs my steps. The furnace may be hot, but I trust the hand that lights the fire will not consume but only refine and when the refining process is complete not a moment too soon or late “I will come forth as gold”. When I feel God is further away, He is often the nearest to me. (Psalm 142:3) “When my spirit grows faint within me, it is You who know my way”

He will do this

Ever wonder how self effort always hinders God’s work? As we pray with a confident trust in Him, He simply just wants us to wait in an attitude of praise, sitting still, doing nothing except trusting in Him. This at times causes a feeling of uncertainty with a tremendous temptation to take the battle into our own hands. know that its difficult for Him to fight our battles and work things out when we insist on trying to fight them or work on them ourselves. So often we fail to give Him the opportunity to work, not realizing that it takes time for Him to answer our prayers. Everything takes time, therefore we sow the seed He planted and bear fruit, waiting and trusting until His purpose has been fulfilled.
