Wisdom has been from mistakes, Failure has led to my growth, Abundance gratefully rises above the paths of my past.
I define myself by the courage I’ve found to forge new roads, Not by how many obstacles have appeared in my path.
I define myself by the forgiveness and the faith I have found to begin again, Not by how many disappointments I’ve faced.
I define myself by how much I have loved and been willing to love again, Not by how long a relationship lasted.
I define myself by how many times I have struggled to my feet, Not how many times I have been knocked down.
I am not my pain
I am not my past
I am a unique individual that has emerged from the fire.
Sometimes our lives can look a lot like a theme park. Sometimes we don’t get to choose what ride we’re going on. Although God loves us, He does not shelter us from life calamities. Just one call, a job termination, a fierce storm, or a bad medical report can catapult us from a smooth sailing voyage to a haunting ride we never imagined. Within minutes our high spirits can turn into desperate pleads to escape the situation. But though in the midst of this, we can trust God is with us. Just because were facing challenging difficulties doesn’t mean that God has turned His back on us. During these times it’s imperative that we hold tightly to our hope in The Lord, (Isaiah 40:31) Our faith, trust, and hope in Him will enable us to rise above the bleak circumstances encompassing us”. As we faithfully place our circumstances in The Lords hands, He will renew our strength, lift our spirits, and give us His peace.Believe wholeheartedly and profess out loud that God is going to have us mounting a lovelier ride soon. If God has us on a joyful expedition, do not look down on those that are facing hardships. Be sensitive, sincere, and offer help. (Eccl 7:14) “When times are good, Be happy, but when times are bad consider, God has made the one as well as the other, Therefore, a man can not discover anything about his future”. We don’t know what any given day may bring. No matter what ride we’re currently on, always hang tightly to your hope in The Lord, He will fill our heart and mind with His amazing love and peace, which will safely bring us through the unpredictable theme park of life.
Lord, Thank You for being with me each day, I know You are with me in good times and in difficulties as well. Holy Spirit, help me to be sensitive to others facing difficulties. Lord, I seek to reach out to comfort those by the same comfort You have given me. In Jesus Name, Amen

“Faith is being certain of what we do not see”
Genuine faith puts its letter in the mailbox and lets go- Distrust, holds on to a corner of the envelope and then wonders why the answer never arrives. Meaning- we hand over our circumstances over to God, allowing Him to work. (Psalm 37:5) “Commit your way to the Lord, trust in Him and He will do this”. He will never work until we commit. Faith is receiving the gifts God offers us. We believe in Him, come to Him, commit to Him and rest in Him. Though we will never fully realize all our blessings until we begin to receive from Him and come to Him having the Spirit of abiding. (philippians 4:6) “Do not be anxious about anything” (1 Peter 5:7) “Cast all your anxiety on Him”, Here is when we cast our burdens on the throne of grace, (our true faith) we then walk away with believing and trusting the Lord that He will take care of everything. Don’t worry about the “what if’s” or when is it going to happen or answered, move forward , looking upward in faith, believing and trusting the Lord.
Blessing to you All! In Him, Lourdes
I live with these three words in my heart, Faith, Hope and Love.
“Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; It gives us the assurance about things we can not see.
“For I know the plans I have for you “declares The Lord”, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
1 Corinthians 13:13
“And now these three remain: Faith, Hope and Love. But the greatest of these is Love.
I believe having Faith, Hope and Love as I go through my days I find an amazing sense of peace, I focus on the little things that matter most to me. For instance… The birds singing, the beautiful butterflies, flowers and trees, my boys playing and laughing, a pleasurable walk, people I meet wherever I go, a simple greeting and smile to brighten someones day, a complement to someone, or just being mindful, keeping things simple and peaceful. This brings me so much joy and peace. Doing this for myself, I don’t think or worry of life circumstances or my busy schedule. I appreciate life and all the people I encounter. If your asking yourself “How and why does she seem so happy?”, well I can tell you for a long time I took people and things for granted, not that I didn’t appreciate them, Its because I always thought its normal to be nice and do things for others. But I learned I was wrong. It takes having compassion, caring and listening to others needs. To stop focusing on self and be that person to make a difference in this world. As I wake up each morning, I say… Thank you God for another day that I have a purpose for. I look forward to starting my day and ending it with a “Thank You”. Having Faith, Hope and Love is all I need to get through my days with a smile, a peaceful mind, and a happy heart. Try it. You will feel peace and joy. Its a beautiful feeling. Blessings!
When we understand God’s grace, surrender our will to His will, repent- we become understanding, forgiving, and approachable. Through our circumstances we become content instead of discouraged. we look at our circumstances and trials in a different perspective. We endure and persevere, He then gives us comfort and strength, our character changes, we become a new person, we find peace regardless of anything that’s going on around us. It’s all part of His plan for our lives so that we will discover our Life Purpose. Sometimes we get so stuck on our past and we have negative thinking, we feel discouraged, worthless. Here is where we need to do what we don’t want to do, complete surrender. Once we surrender our will to His will, we can be assured that the outcome is better than what we ask for. His will is for our good. He’s for us not against us. There is hope beyond our circumstances and we can live above them. (Isaiah 40:31) “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint”. “Wisdom is gained in knowing the ways of God, We see life from His point of view” Blessings!
